Meditrade Group”s history starts with the foundation of Meditrade GmbH in 1988 by Peter Rösner-Mautby, initially starting as a manufacturer of gloves to becoming one of the leading manufacturers of medical equipment in Europe. As we move forward, Meditrade Group remains steadfast in our mission to provide healthcare professionals with access to an ever-expanding range of pioneering products and solutions. Establishment of the company as a manufacturer of medical disposable gloves, caps & masks, and disinfection products.

Expansion of the company through the acquisition and participation in several production companies.

1990

Meditrade is driving its global expansion in Asia by acquiring its first glove factories. With this strategic move, we gain more control over the supply chain and can offer our customers customized solutions.

2010

Expanding the product portfolio with high-quality bandages and incontinence products through the acquisition of the 90-year-old prestigious company, Karl Beese GmbH & Co. KG, located in Hamburg, which has its own production facilities.

2012

Relocation to the new company premises in Kiefersfelden, Germany. Since then, we have continued our successful journey in Kiefersfelden and have evolved into a leading company in the industry.

2016

Acquisition of a majority stake in the MaiMed Group.

2018

Expansion of the logistics center in Neuenkirchen, Germany, commemorating 30 years of Meditrade.

2020

Meditrade has advanced its international expansion by establishing Meditrade UK, a subsidiary based in London. Through this move, we have come closer to our customers in the United Kingdom and Ireland.
